The Brixton Cycles Beastway Mountain Bike Series 2012 commenced on May 16 running through until the last night on July 25. South London's Brixton Cycles and Torq remain as sponsors of the series, which includes the ever-popular team race.
As ever the series is open to all categories, with new riders especially welcome to take part - seniors (inc. novices), women, veterans, juniors and youth riders. The youth riders will not be allowed to ride up this year.
The racing is held each Wednesday at 7.30pm for seniors and youth a little later.
The venue is Hog Hill (Redbridge Cycle Centre), over some great trials included the haunted caravan woodland section. Last summer the hot weather saw mini- chasms emerge in the mud and they added extra spice to the terrain.
For some it's a social thing for others its serious, very serious, but hopefully there is something for everyone.
- Every Wednesday from 16th May to 25th July
- 7.30pm at Hog Hill (Redbridge Cycling Centre), Forest Road, Hainault, Essex IG6 3HP
Your best 7 results from the 10 events will count towards your overall series score.
